PAX – Pet Allergy Xplorer
This is an easy and simple blood test that identifies which allergens your dog or cat are allergic to. Your vet will take a small blood sample from your pet and send it to our laboratory for analysis. We will look for antibodies against different allergens. If the level of antibodies to a certain allergen is above a certain value that means that your pet is over-reacting (sensitive) to it.
The PAX Blood Test looks for the most relevant environmental allergens. Indoors ones, like house-dust mites and mould, and outdoors ones like pollens from trees, grasses and weeds. After performing the PAX Test you will know which allergens your pet is allergic to and customised immunotherapy treatment can be given.

The PAX food Test looks for the most relevant allergens found in food, including specific proteins in meats like beef and chicken, in carbohydrates such as rice, and in vegetables like potato and peas, all of which are common in commercial pet foods.

If the level of antibodies for a specific allergen is below a certain value, that means that your pet is not over-reacting to it. These food ingredients can they be used your dog’s new diet.
NextEQuine blood test for horses
This easy and simple blood test can identify which allergens your horse is allergic to. Your vet will take a small blood sample from your horse and send it to our laboratory for analysis. We will look for antibodies against different allergens. If the level of antibodies for a specific allergen is above a certain value, that means that your horse is over-reacting (sensitive) to it.
The NextEQ Blood Test looks for 32 of the most relevant environmental allergens. Indoors ones, such as house dust-mites and mould, and outdoors ones like insects and pollens from trees, grasses and weeds. After performing the NextEQ Blood Test you will know which allergens your horse is reactive to and a customised immunotherapy treatment can be devised.
Immunotherapy
for dogs, cats and horses
The only treatment that can strengthen your dog, cat or horse’s immune system and stop it from reacting to environmental allergens is immunotherapy (also called allergen-specific immunotherapy). Immunotherapy is a customised, all-natural treatment for your pet that will stop its allergic symptoms from affecting its overall health, comfort and quality of life.
Horse owners should note that it is doping free (allowed in sports and other competitions).
Immunotherapy involves injecting small amounts of the allergens that your dog, cat or horse is allergic to beneath its skin (subcutaneously). The amount is increased amounts until reaching a maintenance dose. One of the big advantages of immunotherapy is that it only requires one injection per month. The goal is to make your pet’s immune system less sensitive (or totally insensitive) to those allergens. The allergic reaction and symptoms will decrease or disappear. Immunotherapy can and should be given over your pet’s lifetime because it is safe and effective for long-term use.
